“It was a great pleasure to serve as a school psychologist in District 196 for 30 years. Over the course of those years, I worked with many learned colleagues and leaders. I grew both professionally and personally within the context of a well‑managed and stable educational bureaucracy.My 8 years at Eastview High School, working with principal Dr. Richard Dewey, assistant principal Kim Martinson, department chair Deb Barloon, and special education director James Omdal, were among the best.At present, I would like to give back to the Eastview community with a donation in memory of my late husband, Brian. I wish colleagues, all staff members, parents and students the very best in the years to come."

SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIIP
Your Sustaining Membership donation is an unrestricted monthly gift that you can pay in a convenient, ongoing way. Each month, we will charge your credit or debit card the amount you specify. Your Sustaining Membership will automatically continue unless you choose to cancel or change it. You can increase, decrease or stop your donation at any time by emailing us at info@evcf.org. Sustainers are crucial to providing an ongoing base of community support that we can rely on.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
Join your friends, family, neighbors, and other community members and become a member of the Eastview Community Foundation Membership Drive. The Eastview Community Foundation raises money to award grants, scholarships and Random Acts of Kindness grants to the 12 schools in the Eastview Community. SCHOLARSHIP DONATION
Eastview Community Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors of Eastview High school as well to students who live within the Eastview boundaries completing high school elsewhere -such as the School of Environmental studies and home schooling.The majority of the scholarships are passed through from individuals, families, associations and businesses. However, the foundation raises funds through events, memberships and donations for some of these scholarships.

GRANT DONATION
EVCF grants have funded learning-enhancing technology including such items as 3D printers, ipads and chromebooks as well as a community garden, a news studio, theatre and performing arts center improvements, tutoring programs and many other impressive projects.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS DONATION
Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Grants are awarded to each of the schools in the community to help meet critical financial needs of individual students. These needs are simply defined as those which, if not met, will interfere with or detract from a student’s education and overall wellbeing. Distribution of these funds is confidential and done at the discretion of the schools.
